Cosmic Burrito from Our House

The hydro meter was ripped from the wall of our house this afternoon when another old growth fir blew over in the front yard taking the power lines with it. We've called the power company, but with the hurricane force winds blowing everywhere, they're pretty busy and we're not likely to see them today. Never a boring day when you live at the end of the road. We have a small generator to power the freezer, fridge, a few lightbulbs and my laptop, and we still have phone lines. If you don't hear from me for a few days you'll know what's up.

Leave it to a spectral day to dissolve the whole grid! Whew! Just kinda floating along in space waiting for a star to pull me into its gravitational field... la dee da!

Anyhooo....today invokes for me the old Disney cartoon of the Sorcerer's apprentice from Fantasia. It is a day of whirling magic, productivity, yet all is tainted with a bit of the feeling of a sail that has almost come loose from the mast, and is madly flapping in the breeze! So, the Wizard's power of RECEPTIVITY and TIMELESSNESS and ENCHANTMENT, make today's undercurrents a little surreal. Its kind alike being able to breathe underwater, loving the environment, but then popping your head above the surface every once in a while into the air and being able to breathe that as well. Now the spectral tone in the eleventh, the tone of dissonant structure, RELEASING,DISSOLVING, and LIBERATION. Roll that into your burrito and take a bite! What do you get? Well, its like being a wizard, casting an open door spell on a locked door that you want to get through, and the spell backfires onto yourself. And then the door to your soul is hanging ajar, and you are kinda just standing there in a backfiresmoke, kinda dazed. The Wizard's magical powers of enchantment have managed to dissolve the crustyness that we normally have, and this wizard is asking us to listen to people a little more. A smidge more compassion and receptivity is the lesson for today dearheart. but isn't that what it is every day?
