Moments

A young local woman named Skye Morrison painted this picture called Moments. She did the canvas with oil and acrylics...the painting is 3' X 6' and every inch as exquisite as the picture. An angel capturing angels...

Walking into a room full of people can be disconcerting, especially a room full of strangers. I've found stepping into a new to me online room is similar to walking into a room full of strangers, with exceptions; we have no eye or body language to make each others acquaintance through. If we choose, this can work exceptionally well to circumvent falling into habitual ways of perceiving people.

Words then, occasionally pictures are our 3D cues to the individual we're exchanging energy with. That circumstance is essentially the same as putting our metaphysical selves into a hot house and forcing them to grow. Now the complete gamut of metaphysical faculties comes to the fore with feelings and ideas that have sprung from thin online air.

When I first began the online forum adventure I was disconcerted and felt a bit awkward without the physical element to double check or validate the metaphysical information. I second guessed the intuitive thoughts and feelings that were normally childs play for me. Eventually I discovered my insecurites and attachment to outcome were behind most of the second guessing.

For me, working without the doorway to each others soul through eyeball to eyeball contact is an excellent metaphysical exercise that strengthened my contact and trust over these last years in those metaphysical gifts. The insecurity I once felt when a post didn't recieve a response gave way to an understanding that the group of people I'm sharing this time with are neither baby sitters nor cheerleaders. The insecurity and attachment to outcome were old habits from when I was a person who didn't receive enough hugs, enough validation, enough anything.

This is my shout out to all the hosts and communities of online rooms around the globe...thanks so much for sharing these intentional online spaces where we can test our newly forming wings in a user friendly environment.
