Earlier today after spending some time trying to describe the environment we live in and the benefits of, I stepped away from the computer on time to see a baby deer eating the last of the sweet peas blossoming in the garden. When I remembered to grab the camera I caught this picture of the mother deer standing by our garden sentinal.
I’ve been trying to put the following into words for a while…it came together thanks to the conversations that got me digging deeper and listening tighter.
Women of our time have the opportunity to heal specific issues relating to Femininity. We need to clear ancient fears around owning our power, speaking our truth, around the persecution and suppression which are part of the collective history of the female energy of the planet. We need to speak together to heal, in sharing our stories we share the burden.
With the exception of a few, most of our female voices have been muzzled by thousands of years of misogyny. Often the most urbane and outspoken among women will remain muzzled for their whole lives, buying into their own act. Most women, me included, have no idea what it means to simply speak our minds and share our feelings without fear.
Though I have recapitulated and let go of a lifetime of stuff, stuff has a way of continuing to turn up. As well, stuff I thought I’d processed can come back as I grow strong enough (read that learned to love myself without conditions) to play with my shadows instead of playing hide and go seek with them.
This year has been a year of completion for me. Years of study have culminated in (to use shamanistic terms) taking power, owning my spirit name Honours the Gentle Breath of Spirit. A year ago I joined a group of women called the Vessels of Peace and began meditating via teleconference with them. Accepting the invitation to dance with Divine Feminine energy has generated some minor and some not so minor healing miracles. For thirty years I was counseled to meditate and now it’s my turn to speak to how powerful intentionally creating sacred space within through meditation can be.
While I have spoken about women inviting the Sacred Feminine I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that men too are doing the dance with their Sacred Feminine energy. I see that as we humans make room for the Sacred Mother within, we heal our Sacred Mother without.

Hello Anne,
it's amazing to see how things can "gel together" when we keep on keeping on with what makes our hearts sing.
When we are at peace, time dissolves (however momentarily) and stillness reigns, supreme. The Sacred Feminine, we all have our beings in, calls out to us in the stillness; without personality, without form, She whispers to us in the breeze in the leaves, far away from the discordant haunts of man, She reigns in silent, mystical splendour.
Are mouths for talking? Are bodies for mating? Are eyes for differentiating? Me thinks not; Our existances are primarily, a Sacred Journey, into a co/creational Oneness with this Essence that exists in all dimensions, and yonder, beyond...
Love,always
John
Many thanks to you John, for being you.
It's our official Thanksgiving Weekend. I took a moment with our guests to invoke and give thanks for the Divine nurturance we revel in. The sacred space that moment brought us was sweet and yet profound.
I've taken your insightful words and passed them on...they are too beautiful to keep to myself. I've often seen you do that on Tom's blog as well. What a joy this cyber spiritual community!
How's it going in 3D?
Love to you my friend,
Anne
Dear Anne,
it's going swimmingly! Am entering new territory like never before.
An exciting time for me; quietly very grateful for "inner guidance" that leads to, Home.
Love blessings,
John
God on you John!
My thoughts and prayers travel with you...
Blessed be,
Anne
