Ok this one's a doozie.
When we receive a reflection from another person about ourselves, we have numerous ways to respond to it. Now, an honest and clear reflection can be scary because we have a well-lubricated, self-effacing (or deprecating), and unreal view of our own selves most of the time. Clarity from an outside source is unsightly and often a jarring experience. I highly recommend it.
Why?Because, as today's energies will tell you, it goes back to how you respond to the reflection. You can go into reaction, try to be right about who you think you are, defend yourself, lie about it, self deprecate, beat yourself up, go into a rage, scoff, dissuade, or a whole slew of other reactions (get the point?)
OR
You can simply allow yourself to be activated into the clear and open awareness of what is actually occurring. Mind you, it important to get over the other person's agenda (if they have one its not a pure reflection) but get straight to the point. This life is about you, andyour quest for truth and clarity and ease in the world. Let a pure reflection wash over you and release fears, and guilt and critical ways of being and thinking about yourself. You should be so bold as to be self-important. Absorb like a sponge, the delicious empathy of true understanding. It's a heck of a lot better than punching someone, and walking away feeling like you have proved something.
Welcome to the warrior wavespell(no punches will be thrown)
