I've just returned from a ten day road trip with our little RV to visit family and friends across the province. On the second day at noon, halfway between Chiliwack (where my brother lives) and Hope (where I lived for ten years), the bolts that hold the back passenger tire onto the axle sheered off from vibration and the axle fell to the ground while I was travelling about ninety kilometres an hour. After a succesful wrestling match with the steering wheel to pull the vehicle over to the side of the highway, a magical sequence of people and events unfolded to assist the reassembling of my plan to travel. The RV was road worthy by five o'clock the same day thanks to Ron and his Aunt Anne who stopped on the highway and made the cell phone calls for me when I was too rattled to operate a cell phone, and my old friend Dwayne who introduced me to Murray the mechanic at the Shell station on the Old Hope Princeton highway in Hope. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
During the return trip I reflected on the conversations and events that had unfolded since setting out. I found myself struggling with the old habit of judging others actions and choices as better or right and other actions or choices wrong and not good. I noticed anxiety building within as I indulged in judgement and criticism and I realized anxiety is how separation from Oneness with all of life feels. I remembered that "it's all me" and the dance between polarities shifted to encompassing the polarities.
I share the above by way of introducing this piece written by Max, a contributor to reconnections@yahoogroups.com. Max has captured exquisitely in words the feelings that washed over me as I re-membered myself. Thanks Max.
The Oneness of God. There is nothing less. All suffering and joy, is equally a part of God. In oneness there is the infinite power of One. One life, One essence. In oneness there is no separation. Only One; no divisions, no barriers, classifications or conundrums. In Oneness, there was the introduction of the first idea, the first concept. The first dividing line. The big bang started with this first line. Once a division was wrought, with a great burst of force and speed, line upon line lay upon and criss-crossed each other, and Form was brought forth from Oneness. Always in the final measurement, Oneness still exists. Even in division and separation Oneness exists.
The sum of all total activity of Form, when added together is always One. For any polarised system that is unbalanced in one direction, there is one balanced in the opposite direction. Of all the balanced and unbalanced systems in existence, they are all together equal to One. Oneness loves neither joy nor suffering more or less than the other. There is not less than oneness simply because anger fear and horror exist. Nor is there more than Oneness when happiness joy and light abound. Oneness is All; together and undivided.
The pure essence of Oneness is that which is left over when the lines of Form dissolve and reveal their impermanence Oneness essence exists in the heart of all matter and form. It is never not so. The Oneness essence pervades, animates and inhabits all form, even in the darkest extremes of polarity.
The essence of Oneness is called “Consciousness”. Consciousness always celebrates the existence of Form. This is evident in a mothers protection of a child, the survival instinct, love of people for each other, the way a crystal imbues itself into the energy it reflects back at you. These are all energetic relationships that are inherent to the world of Form. In Oneness there is YOU, in Form there are many YOUs. The existence of Form is also celebrated in the desire to survive by one who is afeared for their life, the desire of a thief or glutton to satiate themselves despite the harm to self or others, a gamblers struggle to recover their winnings. All these things involve the love of and Awe of Form. Oneness, the All, is in love with Form. It is not in love more with the things of one polarity than those of another. Oneness loves all things equally. None is lesser than another in the eyes of Oneness. Oneness is none other than Form Undivided.
Form’s polarity is Destruction. Destruction is a return to Oneness. Form is an independence of Oneness. Form is the child of Oneness conceived by Consciousness. Consciousness, I AM, fertilises the womb of Oneness; and the never ending infinite variety of Form is born.

Hello Anne,
I was thinking of you the last few days and wondering where you've gone- I know now.
It is interesting of you adventure with the axle as I was thinking something was a bit of a miss - I am very glad your safe:)
:)

Dear Anne,
i am so relieved that you came safely through that axil falling experience on that distant highway. It must have been a shock nevertheless to have it happen hence you being rattled by it all. But you did get to meet some wonderful folks!
Only just now my dad mentioned that my brother and his wife (Chris & Alison) very nearly lost their lives in Turkey. He always drives too fast and, whilst turning a bend in a hired car, he had to stop quickly due to halted traffic just ahead due to an accident; their car skidded on the wet tarmac and ended some 6 ft away from a deep ravine. They have two boys, Daniel & Ben who were here in Wales at the time. Huh..
For me, the Oneness equates to Divine Love or God, and duality is the game or maya that we play in order to evolve back into the Oneness from where we were birthed, only this time with the added wisdom of consciously having chosen to experience All That Is or, the ineffable,Oneness.
Bye for now.
Love,
frm John
Hi Tim,
Good to see and hear from you. Thanks for your concern and for stopping by.
I hope your journey with the Kundalini energy is going easy on you.
Hi John,
Long time no talkatalka... How was your holiday? I quite enjoyed my time with the family, my grand daughter is growing so fast and she is going to have a baby brother within the month.
Spring is showing up all over the place...the hummingbirds have arrived two weeks early...knocking on the window looking for nectar. They are such fearless little creatures...the essence of warrior in feathers. The daffodils, primroses, tulips and such are just beginning their riot of color in the gardens.
Court is building us a new deck in the front yard and a small fire pit in the backyard...both are for staging our solstice ceremony in June...lovely man is aiding and abetting me in my quest to bring more "woo woo" energy into all our lives.
Is your computer still on the fritz?
Sending tons of love, heaps of peace and oodles of laughs to one and all...
Anne
