This morning our conversation turned to the subject of the grouse that were once prolific along the ridge behind our house. After lunch this girl was spotted under the same grand daddy Douglas fir tree I mentioned in yesterdays post. She was feeding on the fir cone debris that litters the ground from the squirrels winter feasts.

She wasn't dazzled in the least by my paparazzi like behavior with the camera, feeding calmly. I look forward to the sounds of her mate drumming his spring love song soon. One of these days I'll also finish digging up the potato patch I've been working on...

Hello Anne,
your paparazzi behavior has rewarded you with lovely snaps of squirrel and grouse I must say. Your garden attracts a host of wildlife that's a treat to any enthusiast with time to spare. In a world where rush rush rush is seen as the norm, how wonderful to make the time to stop and to listen, and just to simply, be aware.
Love,
& Springtime cheer,

The rush, rush world is slowing down, one person at a time. Of course you noticed that I had to stop digging the potato patch...which lies unfinished still as I type, to get the camera and capture the moment for sharing.
The moment of power is now, and we are the ones we've been waiting for.
Springtime bliss is yours my friend, enjoy.
Blessings,
Anne
Hi Anne,
how true, how absolutely true! One person at a time, one heart at a time, one "aha moment" at a time; Aspects of our (inherant) Oneness are teaching us, showing us, re-opening for us the Way Home. The one and only Pathway that shimmers in the everpresent Now. And to (forever) incorporate this, one step/garden patch at a time, in this universe, lived.
Love & Laughs,
friend,
John
